How to get pregnant Using God’s Word

September 22nd, 2009

The Bible says in  Hebrews 11:11, By faith Abraham, even though he was past age, and Sarah herself was barren, was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise.

In this scripture the bible is telling us that Sarah was able to become pregnant when she was past the age for child bearing through faith in God’s word. The bible says Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised (Hebrews 11: 11).

Sarah’s pregnancy was truly miraculous; she had been trying to get pregnant for so many years without success, but when she put her faith in God’s word, the impossible became possible.  In the physical her case looked hopeless, but little did she know that God was preparing her for an exceptional miracle.

God had to renew every cell in her body to make her womb ready to receive her baby and nurture the foetus. In the bible verse above, we see that Sarah got pregnant by putting her faith in God’s word.

It was her own faith in God that gave her the strength to carry a child at that age, the bible says, God, “gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak, Isaiah 40:29. So if you are weak or weary you are a candidate for God’s blessing.

Sarah’s personal relationship with God was strong; she was a woman of faith in her own right. Even though she laughed the first time the Angel of God gave her the news that she will soon be conceiving a baby boy. Here is what happened, the Angel asked Abraham, “Where is your wife Sarah?” “There, in the tent,” he said.

Then the LORD said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”  Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.  Abraham and Sarah were already old and well advanced in years, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my master is old, will I now have this pleasure?” Genesis 18:9-12.

Later on Sarah was to change her mind and put her whole trust in God by believing the promise God gave her that she will give birth at old age. It was her faith that gave her the strength to conceive a baby boy and carry the pregnancy to full term at 91 years of age.

How does this relate to you? You are certainly younger than Sarah and may have been trying to get pregnant for a long time without success. Today I encourage in Jesus name to put your faith in God’s word and allow Him to give you the strength to become pregnant like he did for Sarah at ninety years of age.

In this journey of life you will need faith to live a successful Christian life especially if you want to please God. The bible says, “Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him, Hebrews 11:6.

Maybe you are past thirty-five years and the doctor says your pregnancy is high risk?  You may be trying to conceive after a miscarriage or trying to conceive after 40 and you are saying, “how old is too old to have a baby? No matter what your worries or questions may be, the bible says in 1st Peter 3:6, you can be like “Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughter if you do what is right and do not give way to fear”.

If you do not give way to fear,  God will surely reward your faith and bless you with a baby as you put all your trust in Him no matter how old you may be or what negative report you may have received. Praise the Lord!

Lord, Why Me?

September 9th, 2009

Many people assume turbulent times are not for Christians and that anyone in a tough situation might have offended God, especially when the situation is prolonged. In 2 Timothy 3:12, the Bible says, in fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

This means you will be wronged, mistreated, maltreated, victimized, etc. many bad and unpleasant things will happen in your life, but this is not the time to say, Lord, why me?

Your road to accomplishing success will definitely have trials and Jesus knew that you would encounter problems in this world, but he confirmed that as you remain in Him, you will live a life full of peace even in the midst of many problems.

I know right now many of you are at the point of giving up. You are weeping and saying God has left you. But I want you to know that God has not left you. In Hebrews 13:5, God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

God’s word is true. You must be of good cheer; rejoicing always because Jesus has overcome the world and given you the place of victory! He said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.

But take heart! I have overcome the world.”John 16:33.

What ever the challenge may be that is confronting you now, Jesus has defeated it for you! He has triumphed over it for you! He has risen above it for you before it ever came your way! He has overpowered the enemy for you! You are the winner. For the bible says in Romans 8:37, “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us”.

These words of the Lord Jesus must re-echo in your heart if you are to ever live a victorious life. This scripture should reassure you that you are not alone. I want you to know that distressing situations come from the enemy – the devil, but God always has a victory plan for His children.

Things like infertility, miscarriage, growths like fibroids, cysts and even financial and marital issues could come up in your life. Un-employment and unruly children can create problems for you.

Even then God says, No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Gods word stands sure, for the bible says “a righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken”. Psalm 34:19-20.

No matter what you are facing, God will set you free from it. He will rescue you from it, he will make a way of escape for you, if only you will allow him. For the bible says in Psalm 34:22 “the LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.

You may wonder why God left us in this world of trials and temptations. In other words, you may want to know why He allows trials to come your way in life. This is what the bible says ‘our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us”. Romans 8:18.

So at the other end of the trial and pain is Gods glory. In the times of trial you need to know that God has made His power available to you and lifted you over principalities and powers.

Sometimes the enemy wants you to feel that Gods word is not powerful enough to protect you. But I want you to know that the word of God has all the power to protect you and you must not stop speaking it no matter how hard the battle rages in your life.

God has not left you alone, for the bible says in Psalm 8:-5, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

God is mindful of you, this means he is attentive to you! He cares about you! He is on the look out for you! He is aware of you! he is vigilant of you! He is wide awake in your situation! Praise the Lord!

The Bible say, “Surely there is no enchantment against you neither is there any divination against you, Number 23:23. It’s the words that proceed out of your mouth that count. If you are going through a tough time, it time to change what you see and how you interpret your situation.

Speak only Gods word at that time for that is the only thing that has the power to over rule the situation. And it will surely do so for you in Jesus name, for the bible says, “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed,” Acts 19:20.

Confession of Victory:

Now change your confession! open your mouth wide and declare these words out loud and clear. Let your problems hear you! Let the universe hear you! Let your enemies hear you.

O LORD, my Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! I bless you Lord. You are great and mighty in my life. I am yielding a multiplied harvest of what I have sown and it is getting better everyday for me.

God’s glory is being multiplied upon my life I am blessed and highly favored. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. God will never forsake me no matter the storm that rage against me.

For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off. I am a faithful one and am loved by God.

I am a child of a king and God is mindful of me. I am protected from all harm and victory is mine on all sides. No matter what I am going through right now I am victorious on all sides, because God is on my side. As I declare your word in my situation I thank you for total victory in Jesus name. Amen.

God Will Trouble Those Who Trouble YOU!

September 7th, 2009

We do not have to go looking for trouble in life. It has a way of coming to look for us! The Bible says, “human beings are born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward”, Job 5:7.

During the time of trouble God can sometimes feel far away. No matter how you feel or how big your problem, God is never far away. For He has promised you this, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you,” Hebrews 13:5.

He also promised, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze,” Isaiah 43:2.

So even in those difficult times, God is still with you and will surely fight for you. Jesus Christ, the One who loves you so much and died on the cross for you, has already paid for all your trouble.

God says, call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honour me.” Psalm 50:15. He also promises to do this for you, “pay back trouble to those who trouble you,” 2 Thessalonians 1:6.

SO What KIND OF trouble are you facing today? Is it, miscarriage? stress and infertility, menstrual issues, marital issues, difficulties in your family or children, financial issues, danger, trial, tribulation, worry, concern, anxiety, care, misfortune, unrest, disorder, bad dreams, discontent, sleepless nights, turmoil, conflict, discord, pain. No matter what challenge is confronting you today I want to point you to Jesus.

God has promised to defend you in times of trouble. All you need to do today is to run to God and cast all your cares upon him for He cares for you.

The bible actually calls these troubles we face minor afflictions. God has promised to fight for you if you will allow him. Praise the Lord!

No matter what kind of trouble the enemy is cooking up against you, this is the only thing God has commended you to do, “Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray! James 5:13. God has given us his word concerning trouble, when you see trouble you are suppose to pray using God’s word and our good God will deliver you from it.

Bible promises concerning trouble:

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble, Psalm 9:9.

But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless, Psalm 10:4.

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance, Psalm 32:7.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD, he is their stronghold in time of trouble, Psalm 37:39.

Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble, Psalm 41:1.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1.

Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honour me, Psalm 50:15.

God says I am your refuge, this means God is your safe haven, your sanctuary, your shelter, your protection, your place of safety, your retreat, your security, your safeguard, your shied and your armour.

What is a stronghold? A stronghold is an iron grip. God has an iron grip over your life and is defending you strongly by his mighty power from heaven using his powerful Angels. For the bible says “the angel of the Lord encamp around those who fear him and delivers them”, psalm 34:7. Do not be afraid of trouble, open your mouth and speak Gods word boldly in Jesus name rebuking any trouble confronting you and it will flee from you.

Prayer:

I give thanks to the God of heaven; his love endures forever in my life. As for me I will always have hope, because God is my refuge and strength. I will praise you more and more my good God. I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God. I will sing praise to you with the lyre, O my Lord, because I know that you Love me.

I will sing of your strength, in the morning, I will sing of your love; for you are my fortresses, my refuge in times of trouble. Infertility and miscarriage and bad satanic dreams will not destroy my life.

I say it in faith “GOD LOVES ME”. He is my refuge, and my safe haven, my place of safety, my sanctuary, my shelter and divine protection. Yes “GOD LOVES ME”. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you Lord.

I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God, I trust in God’s unfailing love for me forever and ever. God has granted me relief from days of trouble and dug a pit for the wicked and all those who hate me.

My God is my place of safety, He is my retreat, infertility, miscarriage, fibroids, low sperm count, unexplained infertility, evil dreams, cannot harm me. God is my security and my defence and will always be my safeguard.

I pray O LORD and declare in faith that this is the time of your favour and you have answered me with your sure salvation. God has remembered me and will show his love and his faithfulness to me. All the ends of the earth will see the salvation of God in my life. I Give thanks to the God of gods, his love endures forever.

Praise be to the LORD my God who alone does marvellous deeds. I have cried out to the LORD in my troubles and he has heard me delivered me from all my distress.

Praise be to his glorious name forever. God loves me, and I love him too. See! He has engraved me on the palms of his hands; my walls are ever before him. My Lord will continue to uphold me, I will not be afraid of the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, for my defender is MIGHTY! May the whole earth be filled with your love and glory O Lord my God.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me. Let the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused.

For your name’s sake, O LORD, preserve my life; in your righteousness, you have brought me out of all that trouble me.

Whatever they plot against me the LORD will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time to me. Jesus says in his word, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Jesus has defeated the world for me. I rise up above you satanic dreams, miscarriage, infertility, in Jesus name. “Who shall separate me from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword Or even bad dreams separate me from Gods love? NO! My God is just; He will pay back trouble to those who trouble me.

Praise be to the LORD, my God who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness to me and my family but has remained faithful to protect us. For God is the King of all the earth, I sing to him a song of praise.

Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain. Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness. O Lord you have opened my lips and my mouth will declare your praise. My God is just, He will pay back trouble to those who trouble me.

Finally, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.
